CARGO

Karaikal port will be capable of handling all types of cargo when fully functional. Currently, all types of dry cargo, in Bulk and Break bulk form, as well as containers can be handled at the Port. The Port is all set to acquire liquid bulk cargo handling capabilities and the infrastructure development for the same is currently underway. The commissioning of a fully dedicated container terminal as per the development plan will give Karaikal Port comprehensive cargo handling facilities.
